Will you be prepared for your “moment”?

While watching the Olympics this summer I’ve had time to reflect on the things that I want to exemplify in my pursuit of the American Dream.  The Olympic spirit is contagious and most of the world becomes enthralled as we watch the Olympic games unfold on the world’s biggest stage.  I don’t often get a chance to sit down and watch TV but I found myself completely engrossed in the hype the other night as I watched the exciting track and field events.  I have nothing but respect for each of the Olympic athletes.  Their shear determination and commitment to achieve their dream of winning a gold medal representing their country is something that gives me chills.

Each athlete trains daily for years and years in the weight room, on a track, in a pool, or in the gym preparing their body and mind for a competition that may only last a few seconds.   That type of commitment, drive, and determination deserves to be commended.  I have great respect for all the athletes and the sacrifices that each one has had to endure in pursuit of their dreams.   I can only imagine the feeling each athlete experiences during the crescendo that is the playing of his or her national anthem.

The truth is that we all can learn from the commitment to excellence that our Olympians demonstrate.  There are no short cuts in life.  To be the best you must exude the very same work ethic and shear determination that is on display in London.  You have to be willing to do what 95% of Americans are unwilling to do.  If you are willing to go the extra mile then your reward will be far greater than a paycheck or lifestyle.  You must be willing to show up, be present, and chase your dreams with the same unnerving spirit as our Olympians.

My question to you is…. are you ready?  Have you prepared yourself to be the very best that you can be?  Have you conditioned your mind to think like the 5%?  Are you mentally tough enough to hear “No” 100 times today and still passionately share your story tomorrow?   Are you ready to take responsibility for your life and stop making excuses?   Have you gone out of our comfort zone?  Do you work your business, day in and day out, with everything in your heart and soul?  Have you made sacrifices so that when you look into the mirror you can honestly say that you’ve given it your very best?  Are you ready to be great?

“Somehow we’ve come to believe that greatness is only reserved for the chosen few, for the superstars. The truth is, greatness is for all of us. This is not about lowering expectations; it’s about raising them for every last one of us. Greatness is not in one special place, and it’s not in one special person. Greatness is wherever somebody is trying to find it.” Find YOUR GREATNESS!!

Its time to go all in!!   Believe in your mission and your posture will change, your passion will become stronger, and your willingness to share your story will become easier.

My wife and I share the same passion for this business as the Olympians feel for their sport.  Everyday we strive to hone our skills in pursuit to become extraordinary.  We will never stop.

If your intentions are true and you know that you have found a better way to live out your dreams, then GO FOR IT!   Believe in yourself, prepare like a champion, and do the things that so few are willing to do.  Passionately pursue your dreams.   Are you ready to be the best?

Will you be ready for your “moment” of greatness and victory?

Thank you! I was already up beat but that was the icing on the cake. I am ready and I am heading out the door right now. I’ve become more already than I ever thought I would and I’ve only just begun. I love people who will take time to inspire others because we never really know how low they might be at a given moment. Sincerely Ann Kinney
